More information: click here..............................................................................................................................................................................................................Paidarion was born in March, 2006. Kimmo Pörsti found out that Pirkko Salhi had written texts hidden in her deskbox and asked to see them. After composing a few texts, the idea of recording the songs someday, was born. The recording started during fall, 2008 with Timo Kajamies and Tommi Varjola (from Mist Season), Jaan Jaanson and Jan-Olof Strandberg (from Progression), Harri Göös and Olli Jaakkola. Kristina Johnson and Jari Markkula took care of vocals. ”Hauras Silta ” by Paidarion was released in concert on 21st of April, 2009. "Behind The Curtains" was be relased in the beginning of November 2011. It is the second CD of Paidarion with some old and some new friends. It was time for Jan-Olof Strandberg and Kimmo Pörsti to join forces for real and start a group that would not only do recordings but also perform live. There was no doubt about the guitar player: it would definitely be Jaan Jaanson who is not only a gifted musician but also a great composer. A true reinforcement was received when Kimmo Tapanainen (keyboards) joined with his strong classical background. Finally, the circle was completed with the addition of Elina Hautakoski (vocals) with her beautiful voice and Risto Salmi (sax) with his soulful and talented playing. The recordings took place between August 2010 and August 2011. There are some extremely talented guests in the album: Michael Manring -bass, Rob Price - vocals (from Supernal Endgame), Steve Unruh - violin (from Resistor) and Olli Jaakkola (flute). With the release of Behind The Curtains Paidarion gave three concerts with the bass legend Michael Manring in the beginning of November.
